The Foreign Office has been in touch telling us not to go to Australia or we'll lose our next fixture. Leeds, Hull and Wigan all lost their first games back in the Super League after their adventures Down Under - but were they games they might have lost regardless?

Friday night saw Warrington Wolves make it back-to-back wins by beating Wigan Warriors, Huddersfield Giants lost to St Helens whose attack gets a lot of plaudits but their defence perhaps won them the game at the John Smiths. Meanwhile Salford Red Devils got a comprehensive win over Hull KR, Tim Sheens side still adjusting to life back in the top flight?

Castleford Tigers got Saturday's action underway by beating Hull FC, then in France Catalans Dragons drought seeking a win goes on when Wakefield Trinity edged past Steve McNamara's men. Sunday saw Widnes Vikings continue their great start to 2018 by defeating the 2017 Champions Leeds Rhinos who were without a number of first team players, but Brian McDermott refuses to blame injuries or their trip to Australia for the loss.

The Challenge Cup Third Round saw some great results for amateur sides and League One clubs, the Championship continues to shine with London Broncos staying top of the table with a big win over Toronto Wolfpack. Plus we have our first coaching casualty of the season, Neil Jukes has resigned from Leigh Centurions due to their poor start this season but have they got their replacement already?

As ever a big week of discussion points about the greatest game Richard Shaw-Wright is joined alongside 'The Legend' Garry Schofield and Forty20's Phil Caplan - this is The Last Tackle.
