Council Member Paul Dillon:
A dedicated professional with a rich and diverse career journey. Currently serving as Vice President of Public Affairs at Planned Parenthood of Greater Washington and North Idaho since 2015, he's now transitioning into the role of an educator.
Paul's past roles include Eastern Washington Director for YWCA Youth and Government, where he made a significant impact. He also worked as a legislative assistant to 3rd District Senate Majority Leader Andy Billig and as a legislative assistant to former District 2 Spokane City Councilmember Jon Snyder, where he honed his skills in policy and government affairs.
Paul's commitment to his community extends beyond his professional life. He co-founded "Down To Earth," an environmental advocacy and sustainability news blog published by The Spokesman-Review. He's been a valuable contributor to the City of Spokane Parks Department, working in maintenance.
Paul's passion for making a difference is further reflected in his extensive board memberships and volunteer activities. Currently, he serves as a board member for Greater Spokane Progress and the Washington Bus. He has also been a past board member for the Center For Justice, Washington Bikes, and the South Perry Farmer’s Market. His dedication to community shines through his volunteer work with KYRS Thin Air Community Radio, Terrain Spokane, Spokane Community Against Racism, Spokane River Clean Up, and Pro-Choice Washington.
Paul is not just a committed professional and community advocate; Also in his past he has worked as a Spokane County Democratic Precinct Committee Officer. Family is a significant part of his life, as he is happily married to Tiffany Harms and they have a precious baby daughter. Paul Dillon's journey is marked by dedication, passion, and a genuine desire to create positive change in his community and beyond.
