Our guest will describe how she uses gratefulness, energy, and faith to exude constant joy and happiness. She elaborates on the ways that she channels her experiences into positive energy.
This Wednesday’s guest is Jasmine Merlette.
Jasmine is a first-year teacher at Sun Valley Elementary School, where she instructs her scholars in third grade curriculum. She is a recent graduate of the illustrious institution, Xavier University of Louisiana, where she studied psychology with an English minor, receiving honors in both.
Also, while at Xavier, she was involved in many organizations, including the Peer Dean Association, Xavier Activities Board, Homecoming and Springfest committees, and the Psychology club. Jasmine was honored to serve her university as the 80th Miss Xavier University of Louisiana, where she was featured in Ebony Magazine as a Top 10 HBCU Campus Queen. Jasmine is a lover of life and people, and wants to make the world a place where all children, especially black children, feel comfortable in their skin, especially in academic settings.
