Our interviewer will give us an authentic account of how his experiences and upbringing has guided him along his journey to understand his purpose. He also will share how he is currently working towards finding his true purpose, and practices he implements to achieve this goal.
Our interviewer for today is Cedric Dent Jr.
Cedric Dent Jr is a senior at Southeastern Louisiana University and is pursuing a degree in Social Work. Cedric was born and raised in New Orleans. Cedric has been actively involved on campus. He was a 2016 Orientation leader, 2016 Lions Connected Mentor, and 2016 NAACP member, 2017-2018 President of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., - Kappa Nu Chapter, 2017-2018 Vice Chair of Student Government Association, and 2017-2018 Coordinator of Project P.U.L.L. He currently serves as a member of Order of Omega, Coordinator of Project P.U.L.L Program, Student Government Association Chief of Staff and was recently crowned the 2018-2019 Southeastern Louisiana University Homecoming King in October. He has also earned either the Dean’s list or President’s list since enrolled at Southeastern. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family & friends, listening to Jay-Z, and giving back to the community.
