DeVon is an entrepreneur and financial educator/advocate from Meridian, MS who currently resides in Chicago, Illinois. He partners with Capital Choice Financial Group, Healthcare Solutions Team, and Preneed Company of America to offer affordable and practical solutions that achieve that end. This work has led to some stellar achievements for DeVon among them 2019 Top Producer for Life Insurance, Life-All Star Award, and promotion to Regional Marketing Director. DeVon started as a human resource specialist for the United States Department of Agriculture where he oversaw nearly 8400 Federal employees.
Following his work with the USDA, he completed a one-year externship as a retention specialist for Meridian Community College (MCC). After this he relocated to Chicago in September 2016, where he began a graduate fellowship at the University of Chicago. It was at U-Chicago that DeVon answered his call to financial services and explored possibilities of the vocation in October 2016. He is an alumnus of Meridian High School and Xavier University of Louisiana. DeVon graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in political science; concentrations in sociology and business; honors in theology. He currently matriculates in the Master of Science program for family financial planning at the University of Alabama. His immediate post-graduate goals are to become a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and an Accredited Financial Counselor (AFC).
