As lingerers in Jesus, we hear often that we should memorize God’s Word.

We even believe the benefits to be true.

And yet…it’s not something we do often. We see it as great for children’s church or midweek club, but when it comes to memorizing Scripture as an adult, we have lots of reasons why we don’t.

It’s hard. My brain is old and tired. Brain fog. Too busy. Don’t have the time. Don’t have the energy.
