Did the band prop up the artist or did the artist prop up the band? For many of the artists that go solo from popular bands or groups, that is the big question. In many instances it can be clearly seen that the band was where the real action and interest lie - such as with The Rolling Stones. However, with artists like Beyonce, you sorta always knew they were gonna have to go it alone….
