Our guest for Episode 58 is Dr. Lory Morrow. Dr. Morrow is an Executive Leader, Executive Coach, and a retired Superintendent of Lincoln County Schools. Dr. Lory Morrow is an experienced educator with 30 years of service as a teacher, principal, and superintendent.
In this episode, we talk to Dr. Morrow about her family, hobbies, favorite NFL team, her training & education, what brought her to North Carolina (from Pennsylvania), and her work history. We talked about her experiences as the Superintendent of Lincoln County Schools, her decision to retire from the Lincoln County School system, her supporters and mentors, competency-based education, the future of student learning, the amazing team throughout the Lincoln County School system, and technology in Education (pre, during, and after Covid).
And lastly, Dr. Morrow shared information about her passion for mentoring, growing, and supporting female leaders and also discussed the consulting work (coaching new superintendents) she has recently been taking on in North and South Carolina school districts through L3 Consulting.
