In our first official episode of The Loaded Opinion Podcast, I am joined by my wife Kristin, who was the person that inspired me to become a firearms instructor and ultimately start 363 Training Solutions LLC. I have introduced many friends and co-workers to shooting over the years, however it wasn't until my wife and my aunt asked me to teach them how to shoot and how to incorporate carrying a concealed firearm into their lifestyle that I realized the importance of what I am teaching others. In the past I have had several relationships where my significant other was petrified of guns and afraid to learn. In this episode we discuss what carrying a firearm for self protection means to us and what her journey as a woman who grew up in a gun-free home was like that led her to becoming a responsible gun owner. If you have a significant other who is afraid of guns or is anti-gun, perhaps some of what Kristin shares will help other women overcome their fear and become empowered. We hope you enjoy.
