Have you ever gone into an ice cream parlor that has 31 flavors? You can’t wait to bite into the sweet and creamy chocolate (you’re one of those weirdo’s that bite into ice cream?) but you’ve been waiting behind a lady with her kids that has to taste every flavor because she wants to make sure she is making the right choice and there are so many options. This phenomenon is called “Overchoice” and it was coined by Alvin Toffler as early as 1970 in his book Future Shock. If we knew about this since the 70’s why are companies still offering too many options?
