In this episode, I talk to Luke Gorman. Luke grew up in Lincolnshire and was 'advised' that it would be in his interests to follow Chesterfield! Despite the fact a number of his friends followed Premier League/Championship sides, Luke took this advice and here recalls his memories of following the team at Wembley finals as well as during this seasons National League triumph.
POINT OF NOTE:
In the episode we briefly discussed Saltergate, Chesterfield's ground until 2010. Saltergate was used in the filming of The Damned United. Just to be clear, this was used as Derby's ground in the film. The point I was trying to make was the film was mainly around Brian Clough' tenure as the Leeds United manager, hence why I responded to 'Leeds' when Luke mentioned it.
