In this episode we talk to Dan and Ed from Trademutt. Dan and Ed are two tradies that met on site and gelled from the get go. Working with each other for a number of years they decided to branch out on their own. Sick of wearing the same old dreary work shirts, they decided to go out on a whim and launch the tradie community into the fashion industry buy creating some rather loud and hard to forget shirts. Soon after, things would take a sudden turn when Dan lost a friend to suicide just as things were looking up in his future, only 3 days after securing himself an adult apprenticeship. After the loss, Dan an Ed decided that they would use the colourful clothing brand to bring awareness to mental health in the tradie community in a bid to get people talking about what life is throwing at them and gain support from fellow workers, reducing the rate of suicide in their beloved industry.
