Some important players were missing on Saturday and so was Orlando City's connectivity as the Lions once again came home from Gillette Stadium without any points. The Revolution's 3-1 win was deserved and only a late strike from Duncan McGuire gave Orlando fans anything to cheer about from a rain-soaked game on the fake plastic grass in Foxborough.

We broke down the match in our usual haphazard style and selected our Man of the Match. We also discussed Juninho's MLS debut and how some call-ups affected OCB going into Chicago shorthanded. We then went over the Young Lions' 1-0 loss to Chicago Fire II, which we did not at all enjoy.

Matt Ralph, the managing editor of Philadelphia Soccer Now jumped on with us to give us an update on how things are going with the Union since Orlando City's 2-1 win snapped Philadelphia's long, home unbeaten run earlier this season. It turns out the Union are still good and Matt gave us some insight on how the team has been playing, which big name might be out of the lineup for Philly, and which players are sometimes not at their best. Big thanks to Matt for joining us on what has been a busy week of covering soccer for him.

Following our discussion with Matt, we dove into the mailbagbox and answered questions about the Gio Reyna, the USMNT, and our opinions of a women's version of the U.S. Open Cup.
