Introducing Tamala Lewis. Tamala Lewis is the Home Depot Center Charitable Foundation & Community Affairs Director and a graduate of Spelman College. She coordinates the Battle of the Bands for high school students at the Home Depot Center in Los Angeles, CA. This battle of the bands gives exposure to show bands and allows directors to recruit in the southern California area where there is little show band influence. We talk to the Tamala tonight to talk about her experiences with this event and prepares the listener for this year's event on October 27, 2012.
