Episode 62 is a blast from the past. I've wanted to talk about this for awhile, and now is the time. I once worked with the Dallas Mavericks for one NBA season. Today I'm talking about it on the podcast. My goal for this episode is to tell the story of working for the Dallas Mavericks during the 1999-2000 season as the Mascot Coordinator and Street Team Coordinator. What does that mean? What did I do? How did I get there? All of these questions will be answered in this episode. I talk about the job descriptions, what the day-to-day was like, and what game days were like from my perspective. Of course I added some stories from the year...because this was a very important year in the history of the Mavericks. During the middle of the season, Mark Cuban bought the team...which I talk about. I also cover road trips that I went on, Dennis Rodman, Don Nelson stepping up to Karl Malone, listening to Pat Riley yell and curse....a lot, being at a Christmas party at Nellie's house and why I was only there for one year. There is a bunch of information in this episode that I haven't ever talked about with anyone....so tune in....check it out....and enjoy my year with the Dallas Mavericks!
