With a strategy crafted by legislative politics mastermind Mitch McConnell, the GOP laid waste to House Democrats in 2010, picking up the Senate in 2014, and capturing the White House in 2016.
As President Joe Biden signs the latest covid relief bill - the American Rescue Plan Act - the Republican Party is deploying that same strategy they used in 2010.
But does it work in 2021? Because the latest polling shows that if it fails, the cost is much higher now: the death of the filibuster.
