In this episode of The Mindset Doctor Podcast, host Dr. Justin Moseley reveals the questions he uses personally to reflect on the previous year, and set intentions to make the year ahead the best year yet.

Asking better questions is a great way to rewire your subconscious mind.

Our subconscious mind is constantly processing and storing information, and the questions we ask ourselves can have a profound impact on the programming of our subconscious. For example, if you consistently ask yourself negative questions such as "Why am I not successful?" or "Why can't I ever get anything right?” or “Why do I always self-sabotage my results?," your subconscious mind will show you all the answers to those questions. Over time your subconscious mind will start to create beliefs that those answers to the negative questions are true. If you want better answers, you have to ask better questions.

If you ask yourself positive and empowering questions such as…

"What can I do to improve my success?" or "How can I learn from my mistakes and grow?” or “What is great in my life right now?," your subconscious mind will start to adopt a more positive and growth-oriented mindset. By asking better questions, you can start to reprogram your subconscious mind to focus on positive outcomes and possibilities. However, it's important to note that changing your thought patterns and beliefs takes time and consistency. It's not a quick fix, but a process that requires effort and commitment. A key to rewiring your subconscious mind is reflection and intention. Reflecting on where you were and intending where you want to go. Most people pause and reflex and around New Year’s or their Birthday, But I believe we should do this reflection and intention exercise on a regular basis.

These Reflection and Intentions questions are ones that Dr. Justin uses personally.

Feel free to use some, or all of these questions. As you ask yourself the questions, reflect on things a year ago from today, and set intentions for where you will be a year from today.
