Emotions are like the weather and we are the sky. The weather comes and goes but we as the sky are constant. This episode is all about the psychology of dealing with the metaphoric, turbulent weather of unwanted emotions, and how you can best choose the coping strategies that will help you in the moment.
This episode is all about choosing the best strategy for your present moment awareness and emotional regulation. We'll be talking about mindfulness. The concept of the thinking threshold, and three emotion regulation strategies that we tend to employ when we want to feel better in the moment. And I'll help you start taking charge of which one want to pick.
