Animal Control purchased a 2023 Ford for use by the Animal Control officer Supervisor, with donated funds from the citizens of Frederick and surrounding areas.
While this is not illegal use of funds, it seems a bit unethical in my opinion.
i sent out a FOIA request. only to be told by the director that it would take 5 hours to give me the following request.
The purchase order for a Ford 2023 Explorer XLT 4wd SUV cost around 43k
The line item in the budget for the purchase of this Ford SUV.
What department the money came from to purchase the vehicle.
Would like to see any and all Records, Emails, and purchase orders regarding this Vehicle
The cost to do the search is 66.23 an hour they give you two free hours. so it will cost about 200 bucks to find out what is going on at the Animal Control.
Same people who said they were in need of donations to feed the animals at the shelter.
