Bill Rodgers is the most celebrated Marathon runner of all time. He won both the NYC Marathon and The Boston Marathon 4x each, bursting onto the running scene by winning his first Boston in 1975. From 1975 to 1980, he was the undisputed king of American Marathon runners and over 42 years later he is still the best known Marathoner in the world.
