When Motörhead returned from their US tour in 1981 they did as heroes and played the biggest show of their career at Port Vale football ground. Headlining in front of 40,000 metal fans alongside Ozzy Osbourne, the gig has gone down in folklore. Simon Abbott was a teenager who travelled up with his mates and here he shares his memories of that extraordinary day. Hosted by Howard H Smith.
