My special guest on this episode of The Music Mind Podcast is Louise Anton, a professional vocalist, pianist, performer, composer, music educator and recording artist. Louise is currently based in Perth Australia having spent much of her career in Sydney.
She has played on countless recording sessions including jingles and album recordings, live and television performances, including hosting television shows.
Louise has performed internationally and at major venues across Australia including a solo performance center stage at the Sydney Opera House opening for the Dionne Warwick.
The conversation covers a wide variety of topics including performing on television, the music composition process, what life is like as a session singer, earning a living from music, the psychology of singing and taking opportunities when they present themselves.
Finally viewers get to see and hear Louise perform a beautiful duet version of Cyndi Lauper's famous hit song True Colours. The duet features Louise's voice and piano in collaboration with Brian Hayes on slide dobro.
