Hip-Hop and a childhood of making music was my interview with Koncept. He shared stories of his early songs, rules around using samples and how his music has changed over the years. It was great to have him in the studio and you can catch a lot of great insight on music in this interview.

Artist Biography:

Koncept started writing at the age of 8 as a coping method for the death of his father. Once hip-hop was introduced and became an influence on life, he turned poems into rap music. At the age of 17 he connected with King Karma and managed to build a strong family style relationship starting the movement called Northern Union. By 2014 they had countless amazing team members and dozens of kids who want a slice of the Northern Rap Scene. Koncept Has opened up for artists like RA the rugged man, B-rich, Merkules, Snack the ripper, Illvibe, and soon to be Status 631. This is just the start of his journey and confidence will always make it happen.
