Today on The Natural Birth Podcast we have Devin. She is a Hispanic-American mama of 2 living in a “family village” in Southern California USA.
Devin is an International Coach, speaker and creator of the award-winning program Sacred: 7 Pillars of Self-Love and Liberation.
Through her coaching, Devin helps women embrace self-compassion, liberate their spirit and embody their wildness through the power of self love. Devin’s work is informed by mystic spirituality, somatics, the natural world and birth.
In todays episode Devin shares about her healing journey after her first traumatic birth with preeclampsia and how she worked on trusting that she can have a natural and empowering birth for her second.
She shares about being very selective with her birth team and finding the right midwife.
In her second pregnancy she unleashing her inner rebel, after being a good girl most of her life in firing her OB & exiting the system.
She released the ideas of how she “should” birth and let it all happen as raw and naturally as she could.
