Cheryl says her creativity flows from her relationship with God, and she, like other creative people, is at her best when she lets that creativity flow. From her website: "Music is like a friend who’ll go with you anywhere. But music is a friend who also takes you wherever it goes—and some friends bring out the best in you, while others are just toxic. A prolific writer with an old-time sound, Cheryl’s hope is that her songs will be like the best friends you’ve ever had—friends who inspire you to reach higher, see farther, and go through life singing for joy."
