Of all of the qualities that humans possess, being able to trust someone else may be at the very top. It is the cornerstone of many of our relationships and the reason why we’re able to function together as families, friends, coworkers, and total strangers - we, generally speaking, trust that total strangers won’t harm us, as they can trust us to do the same.
