Carmel, IN – November 20 , 2023 - Today’s episode of The Omnibus Show will feature Actress/Director/Choreographer/Singer Cynthia Collins.
Collins is the Co-Founder of Actors Theatre of Indiana. Collins received her BFA in Theatre from Ohio University. She studied at the N.J. School of Ballet with Jay Norman (original Broadway cast and Motion Picture cast member of West Side Story). She has appeared in theater regionally and Off-Broadway, as well as directing and choreographing several productions – including doing the choreography for the World Premiere musical, Mr. Confidential, last year. You can also learn about her various television and film appearances.
She has worked with such artists as Ben Vereen, Sandy Duncan, Claude Aikins, and Cyndi Lauper. Her Cabaret performances have been seen at The Horn of Plenty and Bluesland in NYC and at Feinstein’s at The Hotel Carmichael in Carmel, IN. She was the Assistant Director /Choreographer to Director Thomas Mills at AMDA (American Music and Dramatic Academy).
Collins currently teaches at Anderson University in Anderson, IN. A native of Livingston, N.J. and longtime resident of New York City, Collins has lived in Carmel since the founding of Actors Theatre of Indiana.
