Is new onion disease coming to your fields?
It’s too soon to say, but Fusarium proliferatum has been found in Utah. Last seen in Idaho in 2014, it was only a one-year problem.
On this episode, Claudia Nischwitz with Utah State explains what she found and then onion grower Curtis Marble tells us he lost 40% of his yellow onion crop in 2021 due to the new disease.
