“I didn’t hate being Asian anymore.”

How did Liz and Lydia – AKA #Lizydia! – become progressive Asian American Christians? What’s it like growing up one of the few Asian Americans in an very white neighborhood? Ahead of the upcoming conference, Lydia shares what it was like growing up a “PK”—and also drops an anecdote about an online dating experience gone wrong—and Liz explains why as a teenager she spent a night looking up Christian words in Webster’s Dictionary.
