His role at Go1 as CTO was marked by remarkable achievements in building a global team and securing investments from top-tier venture capital firms, contributing significantly to the eLearning platform's hyper-growth. Barnaby's tenure in technology leadership positions, such as his time at Payscale.com and his groundbreaking work at Amazon.com, reflects his passion for creating high-performance teams and innovative products. He is credited with launching the first version of Amazon Marketplace, developing IMDbPro.com, and inventing search technologies used globally. With a deep commitment to fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence, Barnaby continues to influence the tech industry through his advisory roles and speaking engagements, sharing insights drawn from a rich and diverse career. Barnaby graduated magna cum laude from San Francisco State University and has an MBA from the Tuck School at Dartmouth.

In their career, they have been an Executive six times (e.g. President, CEO, CMO, and CTO) and a Board member of multiple organisations. Eric has been a CTO of scaling startups from 0 to 120 engineers. As an adviser and mentor, they have helped multiple other startups scale both in Canada and the US. As well as supporting multiple startup incubators such as 1871 in Chicago and TechStars.
