On this episode of The Plant Movement Podcast, we are joined by a remarkable woman who has proven that hard work, perseverance, and a passion for entrepreneurship can take you far, no matter where you come from.
Our guest, Mariana, was born and raised in Costa Rica, where she developed a deep appreciation for the natural beauty of her country and a love for plants. She immigrated to the United States with her family where she and her father got to work.
Despite many challenges, Mariana and her father shared a dream of starting their own business in the States, based on their love for plants. With a lot of hard work and determination, they founded not one, but three successful companies.
Mariana shares her inspiring story of how she and her father started their first company, which produced beautiful, high-quality landscape designs and installations. From there, they expanded to a second company located at the mall which focuses on custom living walls, and a place where you can physically walk in, sit with a designer, and bring your GREEN ideas to life.
But they didn't stop there. Mariana and her father saw an opportunity to create a third business that would focus on creating a place where people can lay back, relax and have delicious coffee from her country.
Mariana's story is a testament to the power of hard work, resilience, and a love for nature.
