We are joined today by Jimmy Trapp, an illustrator with a large catalogue of completed works. When he was young, his parents always encouraged him to make things his own. This is often seen in his work, which takes influence from many other artists but adds Jimmy’s own touch. A lot of his art is targeted towards children, but he also aims to include a little something extra for parents to enjoy. Jimmy has recently started a comic strip titled Scare Care. In this episode, he shares what his inspiration is for Scare Care and what long-term goals he hopes to achieve with it. Right now, Jimmy is gauging the comic’s reception to determine if he should commit more time to children’s books or comic books.
