The Bridge Experience gives you the gift of revealing these blindspots so you can work on them. In this episode, Preston will discuss defensiveness and how it destroys relationships.

When we become defensive, we put up walls that prevent us from truly hearing and understanding the other person's perspective. It can cause a breakdown in communication and trust, which can be detrimental to the relationship. One way to prevent this is to connect before you correct someone. Make sure you have all the facts straight. It's essential to approach a situation with an open mind and gather as much information as possible before making any assumptions or accusations. It takes a certain level of emotional intelligence to recognize that sometimes, being right isn't the most important thing. It can be detrimental to relationships and personal growth. Instead, a mature individual understands the value of empathy and compassion. Don't miss until the end and remember that communication is KEY in any relationship or interaction!
