What You Need to Know is Democrats Want to Pre-Nominate Biden before the convention! It’s an absolute mess: Dems will use a “virtual roll call” to make sure Biden makes Ohio’s August 7th deadline to appear on the Presidential ballot. Conventions used to be the nominating function, but now candidates are seemingly chosen by a system of donors and political elites. They propelled Biden to the White House and now they are stuck with him, no matter his plummeting polls in every battleground state.

John Droz, author at Critically Thinking, joins Ed to talk about alternative energy and tells us that these sources need to be cheap, reliable, and environmentally friendly in order to be a good option that will actually be competitive with our current options. Legislators are not using the scientific lens to decide whether or not but rather they are looking for political benefit. John also talks about how issues in K-12 education are the biggest problem in the country. Changes in the system and curriculum are influencing students’ political ideologies.

Wrap Up: A note about “red lines” in American foreign policy. A comparison of Obama, Biden, and Trump on predictability and strength in America’s leadership.
