What do you think the chair budget was on that show? Because from what we remember, the cameramen spent more time dodging furniture than covering refurbs. And sometimes, running a family business can be a lot like that.
With emotions running high and the already tense relationship dynamic, running a business with members of your own family can feel like a daily fight of words, and sometimes, fists. But it doesn't have to be. Communicating effectively in a family operated business takes somewhat of a white glove approach - carefully voicing opinions and nudging the business into innovation to keep up with the times.
