Born in Calgary Alberta, Spencer grew up coming to Fernie nearly every weekend in the winter. Then after living abroad for 4 years, and working in the energy sector, hospitality and as a chef, he found his passion as a competitive gymnastics coach here in Fernie, reconnecting a love of the sport with a city I deeply adored.
