This afternoon we spoke with Jill Elizabeth Westfall, a 14-year bylined Contributor to Money magazine and she has shared real estate, finance and cost-cutting tips with HGTV's The Front Door, Glamour magazine, Woman's Day Online, and BobVila.com. Her career highlights include reporting on cover and second-cover stories for People Weekly, Money, and MORE magazines in addition to work for Fortune, Essence, Real Simple, Newsweek, Time, The New York Times, CNN International, Catalyst, Atlanta Woman Magazine, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution's "Perspective" section, and WCNN Radio. She now has over 1,000 articles in print and her work has also been featured in newspapers across the country. She was a weekly Contributing Writer for The Atlanta Journal-Constitution's Homefinder section for eight years, has reported on hundreds of communities throughout Atlanta, and has frequently contributed real estate reporting to Money for the annual "Best Places to Live" and "Best Places to Retire" features. Her original reporting has been subsequently picked up by The Today Show, CNN, The Discovery Channel, German television, radio stations (from Canada to South America), the BBC, and talk shows nationwide. She's also been interviewed by MediaBistro.com, Yoga Journal, the authors of Celebrate Green!, and has been invited to speak around the coun try. She is now working on "Green Matters: The Residential Builders, Visionaries, Communities & Lifestyles Shaping Atlanta's Landscape," which features interviews with Mindspring Founder and real estate developer Charles Brewer, Laura Turner Seydel, Martin Melaver, Serenbe Founder Steve Nygren, Carolyn O'Neil, Cindy Crawford, Will Scruggs, Carl Seville, Frank Wickstead, Hedgewood Homes, Nathalie Dupree, and Cinda Boomershine, which debuts this December.
