Part 2 of my interview with trans ambassador, public speaker, trainer, photographer and film-maker Katie Neeves. We dispel untrue arguments against the transgender cause, explain the problematic and political challenges surrounding the Gender Recognition Act and talk about how to be a better ally. We also hear from Katie how she found her mission of helping everyone to understand that trans people are just ordinary people who want to be safe, loved and happy, just like everyone else. This is a powerful episode that explores some difficult topics - Katie shares with us not only why trans rights, discrimination and prejudice needs to be better understood by everyone (including our politicians) but also what we can all do to make a positive difference right now and support the urgent change that needs to happen.
