October 12th, 1998: Vince McMahon foolishly drives his own Corvette to the arena, which he ends up paying for when "Stone Cold" Steve Austin shows up driving a cement truck. Later on, Vince and Austin have a face-to-face confrontation where the chairman threatens to fire "Stone Cold" if he does not award the WWF Title to The Undertaker or Kane at this Sunday's "Judgment Day" pay-per-view. And if that wasn't enough, Mr. McMahon schedules a star-studded main event: The Brothers of Destruction vs. "Stone Cold" & The Rock! With Triple-H injured and unable to defend his WWF Intercontinental Title, he has now been stripped of the belt and a new champion will be crowned tonight in an eight-man tournament! The first round match-ups are: Ken Shamrock vs. Steve Blackman, Val Venis vs. Marc Mero, Mankind vs. Mark Henry, and X-Pac vs. Jeff Jarrett, with the winners facing each other later on in the show. The newly reunited New Age Outlaws put their WWF Tag Team Titles on the line against Animal & Droz, while L.O.D.'s new "alternate" Hawk joins the commentary team. Three superstars return to the WWF on this night: Goldust has his promised "world premiere," a masked superhero from the late-1980's interferes, and Vince McMahon has a new nightstick-wielding head of security. Plus, Paul Bearer appears for the first time in seven weeks, Mr. Socko makes his in-ring debut, and we witness the shocking end of The Nation of Domination! Meanwhile over on "Nitro," Rick Steiner argues with a talking puppet from a horror movie (yes, seriously). Enjoying the Podcast? E-mail us at rawattitudepodcast@gmail.com or Tweet us @RawAttitudePod!
