Episode 78: CEO "Stone Cold" Heads To The Boardroom!

June 14th, 1999: After being appointed as the CEO of the company last week, "Stone Cold" Steve Austin heads to WWF Headquarters and institutes some very interesting changes. Meanwhile back in the arena, Vince and Shane McMahon contemplate what the stipulation for their "King of the Ring" match should be, so they make several stipulation matches tonight on "Raw." The Rock challenges The Undertaker to a title match at "King of the Ring," but he will first have to beat 'Taker in a non-title match tonight.... and possibly someone else as well. Pat Patterson & Gerald Brisco disagree with Vince's authoritarian tactics, so the chairman forces them to compete in a match against Mideon & Viscera. Because he took Stephanie McMahon out on a date last week, Test is ordered to face The Big Boss Man in a Blind Date Match, where Test must wear a blindfold. WWF Tag Team Champions The Acolytes defend their titles in a Handicap Match against Kane (yes, you read that correctly). "The Road Dogg" Jesse James squares off with his former tag team partner "Mr. Ass" in a Dogg Pound Match where both men are joined at the neck by a dog collar. In a non-title match, WWF Intercontinental Champion Jeff Jarrett faces Ken Shamrock in a Straitjacket Match where only Shamrock has to wrestle in a straitjacket. X-Pac is scheduled to face The Big Show in a David vs. Goliath Match, but the big man seemingly wants no part of it. Debra defends her WWF Women's Title against Ivory, who is somehow in line for a title shot even though she hasn't wrestled on "Raw" in months. Plus, GTV captures yet another embarrassing backstage moment! Meanwhile in WCW, a big-name wrestler returns to the company after a six-year absence and Sable shocks the world by appearing on "Nitro!"
