During this episode chopped it up about his signature moniker, musical upbringings/inspirations, taught music producing using Music Generator by his cousin Mario aka Max Rice. Being exposed to the 1 of 4 Pillars of Hip-Hop at an early age (Emceeing). Wrex Mason named his Greatest Album of All Time "The 18th Letter" by Rakim (released in 1996 by Universal Records). He names his Beatmaker/Music Producer Superheros (DJ Premier, 9th Wonder, Roy Ayers, J Dilla, George Duke, Tomida, John Coltrane, Easy Mo Bee, RZA, Battle Cat, Alchemist, Pete Rock, Tokimonsta, Ras G, Samiyam, Georgia Ann Muldrow, Animas, Daringer, Pierre Born, and AFTA-1. He creates his music using music production equipment (Ableton Push 2 and Roland's SP404 MKII). He talks about the highly acclaimed "Raw Randos Vol. 1-5" albums and a highly slept on collaboration album called POWER BLACK! which featured some heavy hitters in the beat-scene (eu-IV, Kaelin Ellis, Kilamanzego, Tek.Lun, Nothin Neue and more). He talked about me making it through dark times to see brighter days in 2020 and 2021 with music. He describes what the local Beat-Scene looks like from his perspective with performances with Donut Lounge. Wrex Mason left crazy jewels and inspiring words for Beatmakers and detailed what's in store for 2023.
