This week on The Record Process, Casey and Tom enjoy a nice little chat with members of the beloved west-coast funk-rock outfit Just Friends. We go behind-the-scenes with guitarist Matt Yanko and drummer Ben Donlon to learn about the emotional roller coaster that brought about the band's newest album Gusher, which was just released on Sept 1st of 2023 via Pure Noise Records. This was the band's first time working with producer Brett Romnes at the legendary Barbershop Studios in Hopitcong, NJ, and offered them a refreshing new approach to tracking that in many ways felt long overdue for a band like Just Friends.
