With its upcoming 25th anniversary, Vance picked a childhood classic in The Fugees’ sophomore album The Score. While he and his sisters would listen in to tape the back of their family's burgundy Jaguar Xj6, the world was truly beginning to realize the true talent that all three members possessed. It was a time where the group was questioned following their album Blunted Reality and had something to say about the critics, our government, and our country. However, due to issues that festered, we may never get an album that can reach this magnitude. Fortunately, the group’s last project together is a hands-down classic that has stood the test of time.

With our special guest, singer Nimbus (@Nimbusssssss), we choose our top three tracks from this gem, discuss the underrated contributions of Pras in the group, The Fugees’ politically prowess, Lauryn Hill at Afropunk 2015, and how Lauryn Hill’s legacy played on following the release of The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill.
