This podcast season—a series of five talks titled “People Who Suffer Well”—dives into five characteristics of people who endure difficulties with focus on the Lord.

In this episode, we discuss cultivating a heart full of the Word through Matthew 11:28-30, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light” (NIV).

Here are the resources I mentioned…

Sacred Rest: Recover Your Life, Renew Your Energy, Restore Your Sanity by Dr. Saundra Dalton-Smith

Kristi Mclelland: you can find a variety of courses, including her Rest course, at https://newlensbiblicalstudies.com

John Mark Comer’s Practicing the Way: https://practicingtheway.org
