Plato. The Republic. Socrates.

Welcome to the Republic of Middle Aged Men, Episode 15!

In this episode we cover the second half of book 6 of Plato's Republic.

This episode Socrates argues that like socialism no one has implemented philosophy as a political system properly and that the Theory of Forms can capture the idea of the ultimate Good, or as we discover the nature of drifting, hence the Fast and the Furious Pun.

We are very excited to continue our podcast our read through of Plato's The Republic.

We are 3 real world mates, none of which are qualified in philosophy but all of which are wanting to work through this classic and others in the future, as well as generally hanging out and chatting about life as Middle aged Men.

We hope you enjoy hanging out with us and that you will join us at www.therepublicofmam.com

Thanks.
