The Revelation Podcast Episode 36. Pastor Stapf recaps his thoughts on the Book of Revelation. Here are the key points discussed this week.

1. Revelation is a call to each heart
2. The key is the loss of our first love, the Lord Jesus
3. Sin entered a perfect creation
4. God is seeking more than basic salvation
5. Be a companion in suffering for the kingdom with patience endurance
6. Revelation is a Hebrew book of cyclical thinking not linear like Greek
7. Christians need to see the sin in the Church and weep in repentance
8. There is a contrast between God (agape love) and the Devil (pride and force)
9. The Kingdom has degrees – levels and functions, but total equality in love
10. There must be judgement on sin (starting with our own) separate from God’s holiness
11. Jesus Christ will come again to each believing heart (not “raptured”)
12. Chapters 11 through 19 may have (Jesus’ this generation) or will take place physically, but that is not the main emphasis
13. There is a need for each believer to pray for discernment, wisdom, and courage
14. The present earth’s time will end at the Great White Throne judgement (heaven or hell decided for each created being)
15. The concluding chapters, 21 and 22, are a picture of the New Heaven and New Earth. Our Glorious Hope!
