Of the 7 seals in Revelation chapter 6, the 6th seal is a very interesting one indeed. Since the 1st century, it has presented scholars and expositors with some unique challenges, mainly where it fits on the 70th-week timeline. Though the opinions are varied, most place the 6th seal in the 2nd half of Daniel's 70th Week, close to the outpouring of the wrath of God in the Bowl Judgments. The reason for this is the 6th seal reveals the "Cosmic Disturbances." These signs occur right before the day of the Lord comes. It is because of these signs, and the declaration of the "Wrath of the Lamb," that many scholars from Pretrib, Post-trib, and Pre-wrath claim the wrath of God starts at the 6th seal.
