Some people are waiting for that better day
When the Lord’s gonna come again.
They walk that straight and narrow way
They’re trying so hard not to sin.
“Why, look at all the signs” the people say,
“Oh, this world is going to end.
It’s tough and rough to be a Christian today.
I’m sad now, but I won’t be when . . .”

If Jesus came to give us the abundant life,
Then He intended no delay.

And happy souls are important to him.

To escape this old world of sin.
