Bomani Jones is joined by Comedian Roy Wood Jr. live from Birmingham, Alabama as he covers the Negro League celebrations at Rickwood Field for the MLB. Before the guys discuss Willie Mays, they briefly chat about Jayson Tatum and all the negativity he's been receiving after winning a championship. (2:45) Then Bomani and Roy have a conversation about the life and career of baseball legend Willie Mays, who recently passed away. Roy explains the significance and magnitude of him dying on the day they celebrated the Negro Leagues in Birmingham yesterday, and how powerful the standing ovation Mays received from the crowd was. They both reflect on his greatness as an athlete but more importantly his greatness in life and how he treated people. (13:50) And finally, Bill Belichick's new relationship gets brought up in conversation and the guys discuss how much money it would take for them to retire with an older woman. (40:40)
