A Serbian American from Croatia, Aleksandar (Aleks) Djuricic immigrated with his parents to the Chicagoland area as a child, where he was raised with his brother, Djordje. Before law school, Aleks earned a B.A. in political science with a minor in professional writing from DePaul University and a post-baccalaureate certificate in paralegal studies from Roosevelt University. In 2017, Aleks and his spouse, Aleksandra, moved from Chicago to Indianapolis to pursue their professional degrees.

In 2020, Aleks earned his Juris Doctor degree from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law with a Graduate Certificate in Health Law, where he represented the full-time J.D. division as commencement speaker. At IU McKinney, Aleks was the recipient of three scholarships, including the Lefstein Legacy Scholarship, IU McKinney Scholarship, and Dreamers Scholarship. Understanding the importance of legal scholarship, participating in student organizations, and community outreach, Aleks served as an Associate Editor and Student Note Candidate for the Indiana Law Review, REACH mentor-advocate, Vice-Magister of Phi Delta Phi Willkie Inn legal honor society, SCRAP treasurer, IndyBar Law Student Division board member, and a Student Ambassador. He now serves as the IU McKinney Class of 2020 Class Agent. During his 3L year, Aleks co-founded and is the president of the Serbian American Leadership Conference, a nonprofit that aims to inspire future generations of Serbian Americans to become civically engaged.

After law school, Aleks practiced as a litigation attorney with a mid-size firm in Indianapolis, where he represented property owners in premises liability claims and commercial carriers/drivers in litigation involving wrongful death, catastrophic injury, and property damage.

Aleks is passionate about his family, Stoicism, and advocating for causes dear to his heart, particularly issues affecting the Serbian people and longevity endeavors that eradicate disease and improve the quality of life for all. Aleks brings his passion for life, community, self-improvement, and success to his law practice.
